Female Saddle:
Schleese Saddlery Service is the Female Saddle Specialist! Many of the Schleese models are designed for the female body. They feature extended stirrup bars allowing for the longer femur of a woman in comparison to the lower leg, narrow twist which accomodates for the Q-Angle of the female hip and gives a spot for the inner thigh to sit close to the horse, wider extra soft seat allowing room for the females' wider seat bones, various flap angles that accomodate thigh and hip angle, and the patented "crotch comfort" to relieve any pressure or rubbing on the pubic symphysis of the rider.

'French-Style' leather:
This soft and supple ‘dry milled’ leather has a matte finish and never loses its colour. It is dyed all the way through, and provides the rider with more grip and stability in the saddle - a popular choice for discerning riders. Our 'French-Style' leather is carefully selected and meets the highest specifications. The 'dry milled' process gives a higher quality 'grain' appearance and softer feel to the touch.Colours: Black and Brown

German leather:
This high quality super durable leather gives a very classic look, while providing a smooth high gloss finish. Colours: Black and Brown

Buffalo leather:
This high quality super durable leather provides the rider with more grip and stability in the saddle. An extra charge will apply for this option. Colours: Black and Brown

Seat Comfort:
The patented CC is a padded cut out in the crotch area to relieve pressure on the front pelvic area of the rider. It is designed specifically for riders who have had problems with saddles giving too much contact in the front.

Gullet Width:
All of the Schleese saddles have extra wide gullets to protect the spinous processes and the dorsal ligament system of the horse. The gullet width increases slightly towards the cantle to allow ultimate flexibility of the vertebrae.

Shoulder Relief Panel:
The 3/4 independant shoulder relief panel is cut back in the shoulder area allowing maximum freedom of movement. This panel can be found on the Triump, Link II, Victory, Connexion and HK model.

Stirrup Bars:
The Schleese saddles come with extended stirrup bar to allow a natural shoulder-hip-heel alignment for the rider. For riders with a much longer upper leg than lower measurment (typically female riders with a very long femur) can opt for an extra extended stirrup bar option.

Wedge Relief Option:
This panel option is suited for short coupled horses and is designed to sweep up under the cantle to relieve pressure in the lumbar region. Your Schleese Saddle Fit Technician will advise you if this option is approprite for your horse.
