Many of the Schleese models are designed for the female body. They feature: extended stirrup bars allowing for the typically longer femur of a woman in comparison to the lower leg; narrow twist which accomodates for the Q-Angle of the female hip and gives a spot for the inner thigh to sit close to the horse; wider and extra soft seat allowing room for the female's wider seat bones; various flap angles that accomodate thigh and hip angles; and the patented "crotch comfort" to relieve any pressure or rubbing on the pubic symphysis of the rider.
In the first of the two videos below, Schleese Saddlery will demonstrate the importance of the twist, stirrup bar placement and flap angulation while the second video will demonstate the importance of seat width and crotch comfort as they relate to the pelvis of the female rider.
