Segue Pad - $159.00 with Sheepskin Rolls - $179.00
ThinLine and Saddlefit4Life designed this new pad to segue from either a not so recent saddle fit session or to protect a new horse until the saddle fitter can arrive. It is a temporary solution to offer immediate comfort for both horse and rider. The Segue pad is comprised of an "Ultra ThinLine" attached to a cotton half pad with pockets for placing inserts that are available in several sizes and thicknesses. Industry experts call this process 'shimming', creating a temporary fit solution until a new saddle can be delivered, a Schleese Saddlefit Technician visits your area or until, in general, your horse's muscular growth levels out after perhaps a rapidly changing shape during training or growth spurt. ThinLine carries an entire line of shimming products designed by saddle fitters to create a better saddle fit as a temporary solution. ThinLine Technology makes it the most shock absorptive material on the market. Please view the three videos below. Shims may be purchased solely through ThinLine at www.ThinLineinc.com.

ThinLine Segue Saddle Pad - Excellent Pressure Distribution

ThinLine Technology - How Does it Work ?

Most equine products work on a compression basis, meaning they compress then spring back, or like gel, move away from pressure. What makes ThinLine unique is its technology. ThinLine is an open-cell foam which moves shock, weight, and heat laterally. Beginning as a liquid, microscopic cells are poured into a mold then polarized so each cell lies end to end creating a tunnel. Another layer is poured on top and polarized in a new direction. In each ThinLine pad, this process is repeated hundreds of times creating a honey comb matrix. This process allows ThinLine to absorb shock, distribute weight and ventilate heat. ThinLine products also carry tensile strength so that pressure is evenly distributed, filling in hollow points and relieving pressure points. Unlike compression based foams, ThinLine never bottoms out.

ThinLine’s unique texture and suppleness allows the product to mold. When warmed to body temperature, ThinLine products will mold to the horse's back creating a custom fit. When returned to room temperature, ThinLine returns to its original shape. The life span of this process is typically 7-10 years. All ThinLine products are infused with active USDA approved anti-fungal and anti-microbial agents rated USDA approved to last 7 years.
In addition to its unique method of distributing shock, ThinLine differs from traditional neoprene products in that ThinLine will not generate heat and has never caused a skin reaction in horses. ThinLine versus gel - ThinLine is lightweight, breathable, and will not move away from pressure points. ThinLine versus Leather - ThinLine is easier to clean and care for and its anti-fungal agents keep horses’ skin healthy while providing the best impact protection.
