Lectures & Demos

When a Schleese Saddle Fit Technician visits an area for the first time, it is very beneficial to hold a saddle fitting lecture or demonstration. You can select the type of presentation you prefer: either a seminar/ lecture presentation with audio visuals, or a demonstration with a horse in an arena.

Following the lecture or demo, riders will benefit from the evaluation and analysis of their own saddle to their horse in a Personal Saddle Fit Session.

The lecture/ demonstration includes:

• A introduction to the science of saddle fitting including horse and rider anatomy

• A discussion of how to improve the comfort and performance for both horse and rider

• What to look for when considering a saddle purchase

• Discussion of how to prevent long term damage caused by ill-fitting tack

• Time for question and answers

Clients who have attended our presentations give us “rave reviews” that they are filled with “useful technical and practical information”, “very worthwhile” and “educational”. The presentation is approximately 2 hours in length. We suggest you charge a nominal attendance fee to ensure your event is a success, and you cover the cost of the presentation.

Schleese assists you in promoting the saddle fitting presentation by providing you with posters providing information about the lecture or demo.
