This all around general purpose saddle is ideal for both flat work and jumping and was the first ‘mass’ produced saddle in the Schleese saddle family. This model was the basis for the original Spinneybeck saddles made by Schleese in the late 1980’s order to promote a new line of leather for the interior design industry. Almost 100 saddles were built at that time in various colours – some of which are still seen as conversation pieces around the country!

This saddle is the ideal compromise for the recreational rider who wants to be comfortable and yet secure when hacking, hunting, or doing flat work exercises. The small banana-shaped knee rolls give just enough support for this saddle to be a viable option even for showing at the lower levels, and offers an alternative to riders not wishing to invest in separate saddles for each discipline.
