Arrange a saddle fit session in your area

We invite you to host personal Schleese Saddlefit Sessions at your location. We will work with you to arrange a convenient time for a Certified Saddle Fit Technician to come out.

During your personal saddle fit session each horse and rider will be guided through the 3 step Schleese System, encompassing the science of saddle fit and design promoting equine back health. You will learn how a properly fitted saddle contributes to the performance, comfort and welfare of both rider and horse, protecting you both from pain and long-term damage. The Schleese System enables you to reach your true potential, whether competitive or recreational.

The Saddle Fit Technician will work with each client to determine their personal requirements. The comprehensive Schleese System includes:

1.     Saddle Fit Evaluation and Education
2.     Innovative Saddle Solutions for horse and rider which promote equine back health, freedom, comfort, and performance
3.     World Class Fitting service on site.

Our goal is to provide each horse and rider personal attention, detailed analysis of their horse’s development, options and solutions addressing their issues and concerns, under saddle fit assessment, and same day adjustments and service on site.

We provide regular service to client groups at over 250 locations across North America. In order to achieve our standard for ongoing, regular service, our Saddle Fit Technicians have completed over 1400 hours of training and have passed three levels of certification exams. Our Saddle Fit Technicians are committed to bring you the same high quality service, knowledge and experience that you expect from Certified Master Saddler, Jochen Schleese.

We like to be able to spend as much time as possible with our clients and their horses to provide an excellent experience in their saddle fit session. Our BD office selects service visit locations with the goal of accommodating all riders and horses wishing to participate in a saddle fit session and sometimes this may mean trailering you horse to another barn in a central location in your area. Saddle fit session appointments are reserved by pre-payment, on a first come first serve basis.

Service Options for Ontario Clients

In addition to visiting a group of clients, SFTs are available for service calls to clients within Ontario. Please note that depending on your location we may require a minimum number of clients per visit. You also have the option to trailer your horse to our Holland Landing, ON location for your saddle fit session (occasionally you may be able to wait for adjustments, depending on what needs to be done!) We suggest you ensure optimal service by phoning ahead for an appointment. Another option is to trailer your horse to a service location near you. If you are unable to bring your horse, you can bring your saddle, tracings and picture of.
